Amway Motivational Organizations(AMO's):
This site makes no attempt to present
the "other side" of the Amway/AMO issue - an approach that I feel
is justified and necessary when faced with the one-sided, shamefully embellished,
glorified and misleading presentation of "the Amway opportunity"
pervasively foisted upon an unsuspecting populace by greedy "ends-justify-the-means"
Amway distributors building their businesses within AMO's.
This site is an expose' on the nature
and extent of harm done to individuals and families by AMO's. Conclusions are based on a collation and examination
of many hundreds of personal testimonials, a review of recordings (many
of them done in secret) of AMO activity and an array of incriminating documents.
The harm is too pervasive to be viewed and invalidated as "the exception".

What not to believe about AMO's, their leaders and the
wannabe diamonds who idolize them
(and why not to believe it)
Leaders in AMO's talk a great deal about "dream
building". This, and promoting their idea of what Christian doctrine
is, are at the heart of their ideology. It's hard to argue against the idea
that those who do not have dreams and goals and a plan to attain them are
probably in a state of apathy and doomed to varying degrees of stagnation.
AMO leaders say they are only trying to "help" people out of their
various states of apathy, trying to "get them dreamin' again",
to give them hope and a vehicle for financial success. AMO's, however, in
their dream building and motivation activities, promote dangerous notions.
Notions that are often built on at least a marginally reasonable idea or
belief. For example, it is pervasively taught in AMO's that anyone without
dreams and goals in life or at least the will to envision them is a loser.
Few would argue that there isn't SOME truth to this. However, from this
idea emerges a totally irrational and quite disturbing consideration: anyone
who says "NO" to the opportunity is a loser. And from this notion,
further ideational warping occurs: anyone who tries to present an alternative
point-of-view, tries to investigate Amway or AMO's, or tries to talk a friend
or family member into investigating or saying "NO" is not only
a loser but the worst of all wretched beings, "a dream stealer."
But the truth is, for the vast majority of those who "get into"
Amway in the AMO setting, it is the AMO "systems" that are The Real Dream Stealers.
